Hey Everyone!
I definitely did not think I would ever be the girl to open up a blog account, but here I am...leaving for Kenya in just a few days! I have decided this is the best way to keep people up to date on my adventures (and perhaps misadventures) throughout the next 4 months. I expect the internet to be a bit shoddy during my time overseas, so I won't be able to IM or email everyone very often.
So in order to keep friends and family posted and reassured that I am safe and haven't contracted some sort of strange disease nobody has ever heard of I came up with this plan: each Sunday I will make my way onto the World Wide Web and post the prior week's happenings (hence the title "Sundays in Kenya)! So check back every Sunday to make sure I am still kicking and screaming.
Really this is just my excuse to essentially talk/write about Africa as much and as often as I want which is something I can't do here without driving all of you insane, which I completely understand.
